Wood Classes
Intermediate Woodworking—Dovetailed Drawers Tuesdays 6:30–9:30pm Members $220, Non-members $245 The intermediate course welcomes woodworkers who have completed our beginner course (or are of equivalent ability) to indulge in a project of their own design and choosing. Classes will be structured to reflect a disciplined project execution. Newcomers to this class are encouraged to enroll in our Introduction to Design and Drafting class and Lumberyard Visit before the first class. All designs are welcome, but there will be a special section of the class devoted to dovetailed drawer making as this element is so often included in the work of second-semester students. This is a great class for the woodworker who is ready to be introduced to the whole experience of making fine furniture. It is highly recommended that students taking this course for the
first time take the Introduction to Design and Drafting workshop and
Lumberyard Visit. |
