Fine Woodworking—Beginning

Our beginner program follows an 80/20 philosophy. Machines handle the initial 80% of the work, milling and sizing rough lumber into semi-finished boards. The final 20% is done with hand tools in a quiet and relaxing environment. No previous experience is required although this class is an excellent choice even for students with years of self-taught furniture making experience. All students will be introduced to the process and techniques of making beautiful furniture with amazingly accurate joinery. All students will leave with a completed coffee table.
