Using either traditional or water-soluble oils, students will acquire practical approaches to meeting a variety of "on-site" palette challenges with preparedness and invention. Some wonderful nearby locations will provide dramatic compositions for the beginner or more confident painter. Basic principles of color theory will be addressed as well as methods of color layering. Rain dates will meet indoors. Materials list provided.
